Who we are
PaceLine Labs ("PaceLine", "we", "us") is operated by Parvis Performance LLC and provides a swimming performance app for athletes, parents, and coaches. This policy explains what we collect, why, and how to control it.
What we collect
- Account info: email, display name, optional birthdate, gender, USA Swimming ID, graduation year, avatar.
- Performance data: race times, splits, goal times, events, pool type, athletes you manage.
- Social data: posts, comments, likes, team chat messages you create.
- Device data: basic device and crash diagnostics required to keep the app working.
- Camera (Pro only): AR Camera processes video on-device. Frames are never uploaded.
How we use it
- Run the app: timing, charts, history, sharing within your team.
- Generate AI pacing suggestions from your own race data.
- Send notifications you have opted into.
- Support paid plans, purchase restoration, and entitlement checks.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your data. We share data only with:
- Teammates and coaches you have explicitly joined a team with.
- Service providers strictly required to operate the app, such as hosting, AI inference, and error reporting.
- Apple, Google Play, and RevenueCat only for subscription purchase processing and entitlement checks.
Data retention
We retain account, profile, team, race, dive, practice, post, comment, and message data for as long as your account is active or as long as needed to provide the app features you use.
- Unsaved timing data: race stopwatch data that is not saved to a profile or team is not retained by PaceLine after the session, except where it remains locally on your device.
- Performance and team history: saved race times, dive scores, practices, team data, and athlete history are retained until you delete the item, leave or remove the team where applicable, or delete your account.
- Account deletion: when you delete your account or request deletion, we delete or de-identify personal account data and associated app data from active systems, except data we must keep for legal, security, fraud-prevention, payment, tax, or dispute-resolution reasons.
- Backups and logs: backup copies are deleted through normal rotation and may remain for up to 90 days. Security, crash, and diagnostic logs may be retained for up to 24 months when needed to protect, debug, or operate the service.
- Purchases: subscription transaction records are processed by Apple, Google Play, and RevenueCat under their policies. We retain entitlement and account references only as long as needed to provide subscriptions, support, and required records.
- Camera and AR: AR Camera frames are processed on-device and are not uploaded to or retained by PaceLine.
Your rights
- Access / export: request a copy of your data anytime.
- Delete: permanently delete your account from Settings > Account > Delete account.
- Notifications: manage in Settings.
- Subscriptions: manage active plans from your Apple ID or Google Play subscription settings.
Children
PaceLine is intended for users 13+. Athletes under 13 may only use the app under a parent or coach account that manages their data on their behalf.
